Cllr Ben Williams romped home with over 50% of the vote in May's Nethermayne Ward election. Outsiders - lieterally - Tory Steve Foster (from South Woodham Ferrers)and Labour's Julian Ware-Lane (from Leigh on Sea) trailed a long way behind.
